Last week was our Mardi Gras break. I was happy that we got a week off for it considering some school only got like three days off for it. The good thing about the break was that it was well needed. I really liked the break but mainly just because i wasn't at school. This break allowed me to do things that I haven't done before.
This year's Mardi Gras break I was able to go to New Orleans. It was my first ever going to New Orleans during Mardi Gras. I didn't think it would have been so much fun, but it was. I went on friday and I went to the three parades that were going on friday. I really liked that the parades came literally back to back because you barely spent any time waiting for the next parade to start. After I went to New Orleans most of time was just spent a home. This break gave me the chance to hang out with a freind that I dont normally get to see during the week since he doesn't go to Episcopal. In conclusion this was probably one of the funnest Mardi Gras breaks for me.
This is a good post Dalton. I feel the same way. This break gave us time off and a chance to do our work in a long period of time. I also was able to go to a couple of parades with my family. It was a great experience.

Mardi Gras was a much needed vacation. While some people did many things, I did absolutely nothing. maxman21
